The term generally used for printed circuit configurations such as rigid or flexible, single, double, or multilayered boards that are completely processed. A PCB or PWB is a substrate of a glass fabric impregnated with a resin (ususally epoxy) and cured and clad metal (almost always copper) upon which a pattern of conductive traces is formed to interconnect components.
