[Other] The first man in Madegascan mythology. When god saw that the first man and his wife Adriamahilala had many children, and even grandchildren, he asked them what kind of death they wanted. Adriambahomanana chose to die like a banana plant (which soon puts forth shoot anew) and his wife was sent to the moon, where she dies every month, to be born again the following month.
