ALCIPPE

[Greek] The daughter of Ares and Aglaulus. She was raped by a son of Poseidon. Ares then killed the rapist, and was brought before the other gods to go on trial for murder; the first murder trial. After hearing the brutal facts of the case they quickly acquitted him. See: Halirrhotius.
