COTTYTO

Meaning of COTTYTO in English

[Greek] The Thracian goddess of immodesty and debauchery, worshipped at Athens with licentious rites. Her priests were called Baptes, from the Greek verb bapto, to wash, because of the so-called ceremonies of purification connected with her rites. However, their midnight orgies were so obscene that they disgusted even the goddess herself.
