[Norse] In Teutonic myth, the dwarf who invented runes. He also made the beautiful golden wig to replace Sif's own hair (when cut off by Loki), the spear Gungnir, and the ship Skidbladnir. One of the four stags who grazed on the tree Yggdrasil.
