[African] The rain-god of the Maasai in East Africa. En-kai, a remote deity, is Parsai, "the one who is worshipped", and Emayian, "the one who blesses". All Masaai can address En-Kai in prayer, but only the iloibonok (the medicine-men) are in daily communication with him through dreams, trances, and signs. His sanction, through them, must be obtained for any important action.
