[Folklore] In popular Irish tradition, the gray cow of Goibniu, the smith-god and the provider of the inexhaustible feast. The animal is said to have presented herself before every house in Ireland, giving to each a plentiful supply of milk for free. But, offended by the avarice of a women who kept some of the milk for sale, the cow plunged into the sea and made for Scotland or Wales. Also known as Glas Ghaibhleann (pronounced: Gevlen)
