[Polynesian] In the mythology of the Tonga Islands, Hikuleo is the god of the afterworld. He dwells in Pulotu, the homeland of the dead, in the west. He fishes up islands, especially Kao and Tufa, north of Tonga. These two islands are said to have risen up from stones thrown down by Hikuleo. In daily life, he is thought to be incarnate in many living things. On Samoa, he is called Si'uleo
