Meaning of ISAIAH in English

[Judaic] The son of Amoz and the first of the greator prophets. His book, the 23rd of the Old Testament, covers 60 years of prophecy at Jerusalem. It reproves the sins of the Jews and other nations, and foreshadows the coming of Christ. He is also called "prince of prophets".
