MELANIPPUS

[Greek heroic] The son of Astacus, and one of the bravest defenders of Thebes, when that city was attacked by the seven kings. He defeated Tydeus, but was killed by Amphiaraus. One of the sons of Agrius. The son of Theseus and Perigune.
