[African] The Yoruba goddess of love and pleasure, beauty, and diplomacy and is associated with money. Oshun is a very generous goddess and benign to mankind, but also possesses an extraordinary temper, which is difficult to sway. In most cases, she teaches the people to overcome their difficulties through kindness and negotiation.
