[Arthurian] A king who, according to the Vulgate Cycle, descended from Heracles. In Malory, he pursues a custom of trimming his cloak with the beards of his defeated enemies. When he attempted to add King Arthur's beard to his collection, the King defeats and kills him, assisted by Balin and Balan.
