SATIRMU

[Folklore] Beings from Philippine folklore that appear as balls of fire, or as burning corn fields or hillsides. It is associated with unnatural deaths (locally called hilaw nga kamatayon) such as murders and drownings. Satirmu seems to be a corruption of St. Elmo 1.
