YAMI

[Hindu] In the Vedic tradition, Yami is the mother of mankind. She is the daughter of the sun-god Surya and together with her twin brother Yama they form the first human pair. In Hinduism she is the mother goddess and daughter of Vivasvan. In Tibet, she is the goddess of death who rules of the female spirits of Naraka.
