[Native American] The earth goddess of the Navaho who is associated with seasons and the land, similar to Estanatlehi. The sister of the turquoise-sky goddess Estanatlehi, she was a Navaho moon goddess. Called "white shell woman" because she was made from abalone, Yolkai Estsan ruled the dawn and the ocean; she was also creator of fire and maize.
