Meaning of LEAD (TIME) in English

(Statistics) The difference in time units of a series value and a subsequent series value. In time series analysis, the lead represents the time by which the change in an independent or predictor (Exogenous) variable precedes the strongest (most significant) change in a dependent or predicted (Endogenous) variable.
