Meaning of HABITAT in English

1. The place where an organism lives or the place one would go to find it. The habitat is the organisms’s address, and the ecological niche its profession, biologically speaking" (Odum, 1959)

2. The environment in which the fish live, including everything that surrounds and affects its life: e.g., water quality; bottom; vegetation; associated species (including food supplies).
