Useful information: It is recommended that qunut be recited in all obligatory and recommended prayers before the bowing of the second unit and it is also recommended that qunut be recited in the Witr ('Midnight) prayers before bowing (although that prayers is of one unit only).
It is recommended that qunut should be recited loudly. However, if a person is offering prayers in congregation and the Imam can hear his voice it is not recommended for him to recite qunut loudly.
