Useful information: Agency means that a person may entrust to somebody a task, which he can perform himself, so that the other person may perform it on his behalf. For example, one may appoint another person to act as one's agent for the sale of a house or for contracting one's marriage with a woman. Since fa prodigal person is not entitled to appropriate his property, he cannot also appoint another person as his agent (Wakil) to sell it.
