Ga ‧ cy, John Wayne /ˈɡeɪsi/ BrE AmE
(1942–94) a US building ↑ contractor who murdered 33 boys between 1972 and 1978 and placed some bodies beneath his house near ↑ Chicago , and buried others in his garden. He was told he would be killed as a punishment for his crimes, but it was only in 1994 that this happened.
