Hussein, Qu ‧ say /ˈkuːseɪ/ BrE AmE
(1966–2003) the second son of the former Iraqi President Saddam Hussein. He had some control over the Iraqi Republican Guard and he was probably head of the ↑ internal ↑ security forces. Many people believe he was responsible for killing many political opponents. In July 2003, Qusay and his brother Uday were killed by US soldiers after a gun fight at a house in the northern Iraqi city of Mosul.
