Kate and Gerry McCann are the British parents of three-year-old Madeleine McCann who disappeared on 3rd May 2007 while the family were staying at the holiday ↑ resort of Praia da Luz in the Algarve, Portugal. She disappeared from an apartment while her parents and their friends were eating at a restaurant 120 metres away. The girl’s disappearance received a lot of attention in the ↑ media , especially in ↑ tabloid newspaper ed which have been criticized for the way in which they reported the events.
