Rigg, Dame Diana /rɪɡ/ BrE AmE
(1938–) a British actress in the theatre, on television, and in films. She became famous as the character Emma Peel in the television programme The Avengers (1965–67), but has also acted in many serious plays, including plays by Shakespeare.
