Scha ‧ ma, Simon /ˈʃɑːmə/ BrE AmE
(1945–) a British ↑ professor who teaches at Columbia University. He has written many books on history and art. He is well known in Britain as the presenter of television programmes based on his books such as Landscape and Memory and A History of Britain .
