A journal that's kept on the internet, most likely for public viewing. Can also be called a web journal and derived from the term weblog or blogger. It originated from the popular application called blogger that allows people to easily and freely update their blogs without having to hard-code the sites. Example: I haven't updated my blog today; my thousands of readers will be upset.
