In computer programming, an adjective which describes code that is so buggy that even the error messages are failing. From an apocryphal story about a misspelled user alert window which read, 'User should not get here, this code is borken. Example: Software Quality Assurance guy to Clumsy Programmer: Your new code isnt just failing in a few places-- this time it is totally borken.
