Excessive Winking On the Web ;-) Often occurs in personal or flirtatious emails. Can be linked to a nervous twitch. Also occurs in business emails in which sender is using passive aggressive methods to motivate, connect with or manipulate the recipient. Example: Here is an example of EWOW in an e-mail: Hi! ;-) Hope your day isn't too stressed out! ;-) So, is it appropriate to ask personal questions...aka, are you dating? Just curious ;-)
