An intense fear or revulsion at the sight of fake fur, including animal prints. May also be used in regards to really bad toupees. Example: The sight of the leopard-skin, fox-fur trimmed jumpsuit in the window at Fredrick's, sent the level of Larry's fauxfurphobia into the stratophere.
