1. A piece of, or chunk of something. 2. A small, handy object (i.e., gadget). AFAIK, has no offensive connotations. Found in a Bill Bryson travelogue. Example: Could you pass a fladget of cake, please. 2. Can you pass me that little fladget over there...yes, that one.
