HORROCIOUS

Atrocious +horrendous. 1. Dreadful. 2. Extremly brutal, cruel, or wicked. To be used in more intense circumstances then either of the words from which it is made up. Example: 1. The oil spill scene was so horrocious that I couldn't stand to watch any more of the report. 2. The people watched in horror as the bunnies were being tested by the cosmetics companies, and thought of how horrocious and sad it was.
