MONUMENIAL

Monumenial -- adjective; describes the state of having accumulated so many undone or incomplete inconsequential and/or trivial tasks that the doer is overwhelmed. These are tasks that individually would be no porblem, but collectively result in doer paralysis. Example: I put off cleaning up the kitchen until eventually the job got monumenial and I had to hire help.
