A general term of endearment, or as a nickname for those who are socially inept. (Another use--for electrical engineers or electronics technicians or anyone who works with electricity or electrical appliances.) Example: 1: Come to bed with me, Sparky. 2: Sparky needs to get himself a woman friend.
