SPEIDI

A marinated delicacy, consisting of a shish kebob with chunks of (in order of preference) lamb, pork, or beef. This culinary masterpiece originated in the tiny village of Sharkey's in or near Binghamton, New York, and was the subject of many get rich quick schemes. (Locally, see Salamida's or Lupo's.) Example: I'm going to open a speidi stand in Florida and make a million!
