SPIVEY

Derived from a character played by Tony Pierce in the film _Dances With Wolves_, the term refers to repulsive and unethical (even potentially criminal) people, often also in the category of rednecks or bums and street scum. Example: I was going to park under the overpass, but there were a lot of spiveys over there. Uh-oh. Here comes Spivey. That guy seemed like a bit of a spivey to me.
