Meaning of STAMBLE in English

Colliding in a serial fashion with small or immovable objects while walking, usually accompanied by curses and rising levels of frustration. (Cross between stub and amble.) Example: Alex hopped by holding his foot as if in agony on his way to the bathroom and knocked his good foot into a hot iron, screaming Oh! #$%*! and slammed the bathroom door closed. Jake said, yawning: Why don't he just stop stamblin' around the place?
