Popular pets. One step up from tiels and lovebirds. Can learn to talk. Are not known to be too noisy - but do have a loud/shrill "sentinel call". I owned one lovely blue mutation, who only liked men with whom she was EVER so sweet -- but she couldn't stand me (the one who made sure she had food on her plate!) or any other women for that matter - except for one female neighbor of mine -- and I ALWAYS had wondered about her ;-) Anyhow, the right bird for the right home.
