Background task from the ConSeal Private Desktop Firewall which was originally developed by Signal9 Solutions. McAfee acquired Signal9 Solutions in 1999 and ConSeal Private Desktop became McAfee Personal Firewall. CPDCLNT implements the firewall security features.
Recommendation :
We have had repeated reports of CPDCLNT "not responding" and blue screens seemingly traceable to CPDCLNT. Since a good firewall is crucial nowadays, if you experience such problems try updating your McAfee Personal Firewall that may just solve the problem.
