CTsvcCDA.exe
(Creative Technology)
Creative Services for CD-ROM Access. This background task gets installed by the Windows 9x/ME drivers of some Creative SoundBlaster soundcards.
Recommendation :
With modern CD-ROM drives (36-speed and above) this task is of no use to any system, so we recommend you disable it with Startup Manager and let Windows handle everything to do with your CD-ROM drive. If you have just upgraded from Win9x/ME to Windows 2000/XP, this task (converted to a service during the upgrade) will give you endless error messages. Disable it by setting it to Manual in "Control Panel \ Administrative Tools \ Services" even better still, remove that service.
