SAF

(Service Access Facility) (n.) A tool provided with the SunOSTM 5.3 operating system that controls access to local and network system services, such as printers, modems, and terminals. SAF lets the user manage access to all services in a similar way, whether they are on the network or attached only to local systems. SAF uses Service Access Control ( SAC ) commands to set up and manage services.
