ATTITUDE

Meaning of ATTITUDE in English

[organizational behavior] attitude is not set(fixed) but changeable. In many cases, behavior controls attitude .

eg: After Sean donate money to a charity, his attitude toward that charity would be more positive than it was before the donation. The act of giving money leads to a change in attitude. If Sean disliked a certain charity before, then giving money to charity must make him uncomfortable. To resolve this dissonance Sean can do one of several things: He can negate the donation by saying he was forced to give, he can stop giving money, or he can change his attitude by saying,"well, the charity isn't that bad after all"
