Two promontories at the eastern end of the Strait of Gibraltar .
They include the Rock of Gibraltar (at Gibraltar ) in Europe and Jebel Musa (at Ceuta ) in northern Africa. They are fabled to have been set there by Heracles as a memorial in his labour of seizing the cattle of the three-bodied giant Geryon.
