Meaning of ANACLETUS, SAINT in English

flourished 1st century AD, ; feast day April 26 also called Cletus, or Anencletus second pope (7688 or 7991) after St. Peter. According to St. Epiphanius and the priest Tyrannius Rufinus, he directed the Roman Church with St. Linus, successor to St. Peter, during Peter's lifetime. He died, probably a martyr, during the reign of Domitian.
