(1954– )
a British politician who became the Member of Parliament for an area of Glasgow in Scotland in 1992. He was a member of the Labour Party but was forced to leave in 2003 because of his strong views against the war in Iraq. He formed a new political party, Respect - The Unity Coalition in 2004.
