a Scottish singer, writer of songs and flute player, formerly with the pop group the Eurythmics . In 1992 she began a career as a singer on her own with the album Annie Lennox – Diva . She won an Oscar for her song Into the West on the soundtrack of the 2003 The Lord of the Rings film.
