a US pop singer and actor, born Madonna Louise Veronica Ciccone. She has emphasized sex in her music and stage performances, as well as in the clothes she wears for them. Her films include Desperately Seeking Susan (1985) and Evita (1996). Her song albums have included Bedtime Stories (1994), Ray of Light (1998), Music (2000) and American Life (2003).
