a writer who was born in Zimbabwe and moved to Scotland. He has written a series of humorous books about a female detective in Botswana who solves people’s everyday problems. The first book, The No.1 Ladies’ Detective Agency was published in 1999. The books have since become popular around the world. He is also a Professor of Medical Law and has written more than 50 books about law and medical ethics.
