a US singer, dancer and actor. She was especially popular in the 1970s. She won an Oscar for her part in the film Cabaret (1972), and her other films have included New York New York (1977) and Arthur (1981). Minnelli is the daughter of Judy Garland and the director Vincente Minnelli.
