an English architect and designer. He was a leading figure in the English Gothic Revival , and had an important influence on the Arts and Crafts Movement . Pugin was a Roman Catholic , and designed several Catholic churches and cathedrals, but is best remembered for his work with Charles Barry on the decoration inside the Houses of Parliament (2).
