I . George Robertson
(1946– )
a British Labour politician. He became a Member of Parliament in 1978 and held several important positions in the Labour Shadow Cabinet before becoming Secretary of State for Defence in the Labour government of 1997. He and served as Secretary General of NATO from 1999 to 2003. He was made a life peer in 1999.
II . Pat Robertson
(1930– )
a US televangelist and founder of the Christian Coalition of America. In 1959, he bought a television station in Portsmouth, Virginia , and a year later began the Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN) which reaches 155 countries in 64 languages. Robertson tried without success to become the Republican Party candidate for US President in 1988.
