SANTA FE

the capital of the US state of New Mexico . It is in the northern part of the state, close to the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. The Spanish established it in 1610 and built its Palace of Governors, the oldest public building in the US. About 1.5 million tourists visit the city each year.
